London Sketchfest has been scouting the country for the best new and up-and-coming writer-performers in comedy – sketch groups and comedy acts that stand out as some of the top new talent for 2016.

The 12 competing acts, chosen as the best emerging talent in sketch comedy, will perform in 3 shows across 2 days in front of audiences and a panel of industry judges who will award a winner Best New Act 2016.

An annual showcase of the best of British sketch comedy, London SketchFest’s Best New Act Competition helps to discover exciting breakthrough acts each year. Previous winners such as The Pin, Gein’s Family Giftshop and Daphne have gone on to win numerous awards and recognition, putting them firmly in the spotlight.
